A Weekend Away

As much as I love 'my city' it's really nice to get away from the busy streets and twinkling lights. We went away for our Anniversary this past weekend and it was really nice to be able to see the stars - that is, when it wasn't cloudy :)
Mohonk Mountain House.

We ate lunch outside most days we were there and one night we even had a yummy lobster dinner.
The view from the rocking chairs on our porch.
We took a hike while it was raining one afternoon and the views were breathtaking.
To three years of love and friendship. Ryan, I'm so grateful for our life together...

Baby 'T'

Baby T is so sweet. I didn't get to actually 'meet' him since he was asleep the whole time I was visiting with his Mom last week. But boy was he adorable.
Photography is so powerful in helping you remember all the tiny details. It's especially important during the first few weeks because things change every day.

Baby 'T' sleeps with his hands up by his head...

...his toes are teeny tiny...
...and he's still small enough to fit in the seat of a chair :)
There's nothing in this world quite like the love of a Mother.
And there's nothing so great than being asked to photograph a brand new baby. Thank you for this amazing opportunity Hayley!
